EV charger prices in the US

Public charging prices vary a lot, so it pays to compare. Here are the main networks in the US side by side.

Every price links to the operator’s own price page and shows when we last checked it. Some are re-read automatically every three days; the rest we check by hand twice a week.

Prices change, check before you charge. The price shown in the operator’s app or on the charger is the one you pay.

No affiliate links, no sponsored rankings: no network pays to appear here or to be ranked higher.

Taxes

Prices are shown as published by each operator. Sales tax depends on the state and city, and some operators add it at checkout, so the amount you pay can be higher.

How we check prices

No prices here are currently read automatically; every price and link is checked by hand twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. Networks whose prices are app-only or vary by site are listed with a link to their official price page instead of a number. Tesla Supercharger prices are shown in the Tesla app, vary by site and time, and are not listed here.
