Affiliate disclosure
How DynamoShang may earn money from some links, and what that does not change.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
The short version
- We may earn a commission on some links. Since 28 October 2026 the only live affiliate links are for Zendure (home batteries and balcony solar kits), via the Awin network, on a few home-battery guides for readers in France, the Netherlands and the US.
- Every affiliate link or banner is labelled “Ad · affiliate link” (or the same in the page language) next to it, so you know before you click.
- Commission never affects our figures, calculators or rankings.
- Our tools stay free to use, with no sign-up.
How affiliate links work
Some retailers and service providers pay a commission when someone follows a link from a website and then buys something. We may join such programmes, for example through the Awin affiliate network, for products that fit the site such as home EV chargers or tyres. Current programme: Zendure EU (home batteries and balcony solar kits) through Awin. If you click an affiliate link and buy, we may receive a commission from the merchant. The price you pay is not increased by the link.
Affiliate links are labelled “Affiliate link” next to the link itself, before you click. Links that are not labelled are ordinary links, and we earn nothing from them. The “check price” links in the calculator and the operator links in the charger price tables go straight to the manufacturer's, retailer's or operator's own page.
What commission does not change
- Figures and calculators. Prices, tariffs, running costs and the results of our tools are worked out the same way whether or not a business pays us anything.
- Rankings and comparisons. Tables and lists are ordered by the figures and the criteria shown on the page, never by commission. No business can pay to appear or to be ranked higher.
- Recommendations. We only recommend a product or service where we honestly think it is good value for the reader. We do not recommend something because it pays commission, and we will say so when a cheaper or better option has no affiliate link.
Free tools
The calculators, charger price tables and guides are free and will stay free. Any commission helps cover the cost of running and updating the site.
